Since sweaters are made of animal hair fibers woven into yarn, 

they tend to shrink and become short after shrinking hard,

You can do this to prevent shrinkage.

1. Wash in warm water. 

Water temperature 25-40 degrees Celsius is the best, 

add a small amount of neutral cleaning agent in the water, 

stir a few times, let the cleaning agent is evenly dispersed.

2. Knead quickly and gently. 

Gently knead for 2 to 5 minutes.

3. Squeeze out the water. 

Curl the sweater into a ball and press gently against the rim of the basin to remove water. 

But be careful you can't wring it out, 

because it hurts the fibers more than washing machines.

4. Towels absorb water.

 Lay a large white towel flat, 

unroll the washed sweater and lay it on the towel Roll it up and use a little force 

so that the towel absorbs as much water as possible.

5. Spread out to dry. 

The washed sweater should be spread out to dry so that it won't warp.
